How Regenerative Medicine Can Help You Recover From Personal Injuries?
Regenerative medicine has the potential to play a huge role in your personal injury healing because it works by dramatically increasing the natural reparative biochemicals, growth factors, and stem cells at the site of the damaged tissues. Regenerative medicine stimulates these tissues to rapidly heal and repair.
Can Stem Cell Therapy help you with your Personal Injury?
Yes, Stem Cell Therapy can be an effective way to treat personal injuries. The procedure involves either harvesting stem cells from the patient’s bone or fat tissue (very painful), or harvesting them from the umbilical cord/placenta during a viable c-section birth (very expensive). Unfortunately, very few Insurances will cover Stem Cell Therapy... a less painful and equally effective option that is well-covered by Insurances is Regenerative Trigger Point Injections.

REGENERATIVE MEDICINE
What is Regenerative Medicine ?
Regenerative Medicine is the non-surgical branch of medicine that uses natural methods to regrow, repair or replace damaged or diseased cells, organs or tissues, to restore normal function.
What is the goal of Regenerative Medicine?
Regenerative medicine aims to restore normal function by utilizing therapies that go beyond treating symptoms, but actually stimulate your body to heal at a higher rate:
- Aims to fix source of pain
- Increases regenerative chemicals
- Often NO downtime needed
- Results often long-lasting /permanent
- Natural, Non-toxic
- Often little to no risk/ side-effects
- Often more cost-effective in long run
How does Regenerative Medicine work and how can it help me?
Regenerative medicine is a non-surgical, natural way to help your body repair itself. It involves increasing the number of naturally occurring biochemicals, growth factors, and stem cells at the site of damaged tissue and organs lost due to aging, disease, damage or injury so that wounds heal faster and tissues are stronger.
What Injuries Do You Treat?
Any musculoskeletal pain/injury you can think of (including anything that ends in -itis).
What to expect with Regenerative Therapies?
All regenerative therapies work by stimulating more healing chemicals to be produced and released in the body, to repair tissue injury, For more info, please visit Regenerative Medicine
Will it hurt?
During the treatments it can be normal to feel some achiness and soreness that last anywhere from a few minutes to a few days, often followed by progressive relief. For more info, please visit Regenerative Medicine
How long until I feel a difference?
The goal of the treatment is to get tissues to truly repair, that naturally takes time. You will often feel immediate pain relief but the bulk of the benefits will come as time allows the tissues to repair. This can be within a week or as long as 6 weeks. That being said it speeds the healing process by about 20-60% on average (so much faster healing!) For more info, please visit Regenerative Medicine
How many treatments are needed?
To achieve ideal results, it is common to need:
• 1-3 treatments for simple cases,
• 3-5 treatments for moderate cases,
• 6-8+ for difficult cases.
After achieving your desired goal, it can be beneficial to have occasional “maintenance” treatments a few times a year. For more info, please visit Regenerative Medicine
Do I need to stop my activities?
90+% of the time the answer is No, you do not. That is one of the advantages of coming to our office, we will only limit your activities if absolutely necessary. For more info, please visit Regenerative Medicine
Am I a candidate for Regenerative Medicine Therapy?
If you suffer from pain or injury due to advancing age or injury, Regenerative Therapy may be a good option. It can help heal your body without an invasive surgery and at a fraction of the cost, with less downtime and no chance of incurring further damage during recovery.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections
How does PRP work?
Platelet Rich Plasma Injections are performed by drawing blood from the patient, spinning it in a special machine (so that the platelets separate from the red blood cells) and then re-injecting the platelet rich plasma into the damaged tissue. Platelet Rich Plasma contains growth factors, cytokines, collagen, stem cells and other reparative chemicals necessary for tissue repair. By injecting them directly into the damaged tissue, we can dramatically increase the repair and regeneration of those damaged tissues
What to expect during treatment?
First we draw your blood, typically 20-30 CCs, then spin it in a centrifuge to separate the RBCs from the plasma. We then take the platelet rich plasma and inject it directly into the site of injury. You will feel a mild poke and burn during injection. To know more visit Platelet Rich Plasma Injections
What to expect after treatment?
Either immediate relief or soreness that lasts up to 24-48 hours, best results show up after 4-6 weeks. To know more visit Platelet Rich Plasma Injections

Dry Needling and Acupuncture are two forms of alternative medicine that involve the use of the same needles to treat pain. While both practices have similar goals to relieve pain by relaxing tight muscles they differ in how they achieve this goal. Dry needling involves the insertion of special needles at specific trigger points to release tension and induce a healing response. Acupuncture, on the other hand, uses thin needles along meridian lines representing bodily organs to restore energy balance and proper healing to the patient's body.
How Does Acupuncture Work?
Acupuncture / Dry Needling consists of inserting small needles into specific sites along a network of damaged tissues (tendons, muscles, trigger points, fascia, etc) to stimulate the body to flood the area with reparative chemicals (such as stem cells, growth factors, cytokines, collagen, etc.) within those tissues. Naturally speeding up pain relief and injury repair.
